Homemade Taco Seasoning Recipe

On most supermarket packets, salt sits at or near the top of the ingredient list, followed by something like maltodextrin or a starch filler, and the actual spices come after. Mixing your own takes about five minutes with jars you probably already own. One batch of this taco seasoning fills a small jar and seasons roughly six pounds of meat, which is where the cost difference stops being theoretical.
